Artist Biography
Bryn McConnell is a visual artist whose work spans mixed-media collage, textile creations, and painting. Her recent projects implement a process of sewing found objects into abstract collages affixed to lattice structures. This tedious and meticulous approach to creating explores ideas of patience, observation, and interconnection. Ultimately, Bryn’s work invokes the talent of a skilled eye for pattern recognition and fascinating material combinations.
Bryn is a graduate of Tulane University with a degree in Architecture and Art. She recently moved to Berlin, Germany to broaden her practice, having established her career in the culturally vibrant and artistic city of New Orleans, Louisiana.
